The Ford Expedition's fog lights are a safety feature that helps you see better in foggy conditions. Fog lights are usually mounted low on the vehicle, near the front of the vehicle, and can also be used as daytime running lights.
Adaptive cruise control is a system that adjusts speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you. It uses radar and cameras to monitor traffic, so it can slow down or stop if necessary. Most high-end vehicles come with adaptive cruise control as a standard feature, but the 2023 Ford Expedition only has it as an option. The base model does not have adaptive cruise control at all.
The Blind-spot monitoring system uses cameras to detect vehicles in your blind spots and alerts you with a light on the side mirror if you need to change lanes. This feature can be turned off, but it's good to know that it will only alert you when there is an actual car or object in your blind spot. It won't flash every time someone looks into your mirror.
