ABOUT THE POSITION:
As a Sales Consultant you will approach, greet and offer assistance to customers who submit leads or enter the dealership showroom or lot. Your focus will be to satisfy the automotive needs of each customer, assisting them in selecting the right vehicle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customer and determine make, type and quality of vehicle desired
Explain features and demonstrate the operation of vehicle
Research availability of models and optional equipment
Describe all optional equipment available
Consult with Sales Manager when necessary
Review vehicle operating features, warranty and paperwork, laying the foundation for customer loyalty
Maintain customer database
Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business
Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled
Attend product and training courses
Keep current on all new products, features and accessories
